A newly single Ricky Martin is back to livin’ la vida loca. The singer just showed off his lean, ripped physique while relaxing shirtless on a yacht just one week after announcing his split from his husband Jwan Yosef.
The couple, who were married for six years, released a shared statement in Spanish on July 6 breaking the news. “For some time, we have considered transforming our relationship, and it is after careful consideration that we have decided to end our marriage with love, respect and dignity for our children and honoring what we have experienced as a couple all these wonderful years,” the pair wrote.
“Our greatest desire now is to continue having a healthy family dynamic and a relationship centered on peace and friendship to continue the joint upbringing of our children, preserving the respect and love we have for each other,” the note continued. “As always, we thank you for all the love and support we received throughout our marriage. We are united in nurturing this new chapter of our lives.”
For Martin, this new chapter in his life includes travelling to some of the most beautiful parts of Europe to play concerts on his world Symphonic tour, accompanied by his twin sons Matteo and Valentino. Martin’s latest Instagram post shows them all enjoying their time out on the water in the sunshine prior to his planned concert in Monaco.
While this is Martin’s first shirtless photo to hit social media post-breakup, he is far from an ingenue when it comes to the thirsty art form. His Instagram is rife with post-workout flexes, and he recently sent fans into a tailspin by capturing the moment he got out of the shower.
