David and Victoria Beckham Look Unrecognizable in Throwback Anniversary Photo

Like many couples, David and Victoria Beckham regularly share snapshots from their life together on social media. The former Spice Girl and soccer star often work out as a couple on Instagram, and Victoria is occasionally known to post thirst traps of David to her grid.

In their latest couple photo to hit Instagram, however, the pair look strikingly different. In honor of their 24th wedding anniversary on July 4, David shared a candid image of the two of them from 1999, the year they first got married, when their respective positions as global pop superstar and Manchester United’s golden boy had propelled them to shared fame as “Posh and Becks.”

“To the best wife, mummy & drinking partner,” he wrote in the caption, jokingly adding “most of the time” in parentheses. “Happy Anniversary love u so much,” he said, going on to tag their four children Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz, and Harper in the post.

“Happy anniversary to my favorite couple in the world!” commented Desperate Housewives star Eva Longoria, while actress Alyssa Milano called the photo “so beautiful,” and soccer commentator Gary Neville wrote “Happy Anniversary to both of you and all my love.”

In the photo, David is still sporting his trademark blonde curtains hairstyle, and both he and Victoria look remarkably fresh-faced at 24 and 25 respectively while cuddling up to a pair of Rottweiler puppies.

However, they both still look great at the ages of 48 and 49: they struck a very stylish pair at the recent Jacquemus fashion show on June 26, playfully sailing up to the runway in Versailles in a boat. And if their gym updates are anything to go by, they are in just as good a shape now as they were when David was playing professional soccer and Victoria was touring stadiums with the Spice Girls.
